You may have noticed we just released bottles of our Moondog Imperial Milk Stout with Toasted Coconut and Figs coming in at 11.5% ABV. If not, come and grab a few bottles and try some for yourself. We bottled a bunch of it but they're going fast so make sure you claim yours before they're gone.
What's coming next?
The next release in this Imperial Milk Stout Series is a Bananas Foster Imperial Dessert Stout (tentative release date March 12th). It'll be a much smaller batch of bottles, yet still delicious. We'll have two more releases after that: a Mexican Hot Chocolate Imperial Dessert Stout and a Still Austin Sherry Barrel-aged Imperial Milk Stout. Dates to be announced. Keep an eye out!
As we say goodbye to the last decade and hello to the 2020s (still so weird to say!), we couldn't be more excited about what this upcoming year will bring for us. 2020 will be another huge year of growth for Whitestone Brewery, largely due to our new experimental beer program that we made official in the last few months of 2019. You saw a few infusions and barrel-aged releases from us, but get ready for a year of some brand new beers, new spins on your WSB favorites, and the return of the seasonals you all know and love.
We're currently working on a few varieties of an Imperial Stout including a couple dessert stout varieties and a barrel-aged milk stout that we'll be packaging for sale straight from the taproom. Keep an eye out for more information on these releases, as they will be available in very limited quantities that you won't want to miss out on.
Our first big event of the year will be our 4th anniversary party on Saturday, January 25th. We'll be celebrating all day with special beer releases, live music from 6-9pm by The Brian Wolff Duo, and limited edition anniversary merchandise. Stay tuned for more information about this event, it's going to be a great one!
