ABV: 3.2% | IBU: 2
Tasting Notes: The aroma has a sharply sour character along with a slight doughy-ness. The lactic sourness in the flavor is dominant but the bread dough character gives some body to the finish. No hop flavor or bitterness is apparent.
We will be serving this beer with 2 types of German syrups which mellow out the sourness a bit. One of the syrups is called Woodruff syrup. Woodruff is an herb grown in Europe which they use to flavor dishes and drinks. Woodruff syrup gives the beer a green color. The other syrup is Raspberry which turns the beer pink. 1 ounce of syrup in a pint is the standard amount to add.
