Black is Beautiful Imperial Stout
Our Black Is Beautiful Imperial Stout release #1 of 3 is now on tap for onsite consumption and Crowler and Growler fills to-go! For the first release, we decided to put our version of the base imperial stout on tap. Release #2 will be available Wednesday 9/16 in bottles-to-go with coffee donated by our friends at Mi Mundo Coffeehouse & Roastery, and release #3 will available in October, barrel-aged in corn whiskey barrels. Come in tomorrow and try this deliciously roasty and drinkable imperial stout coming in at 10% ABV and take some to-go!
100% of proceeds will go to benefit the Equal Justice Initiative and the Cedar Park Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (CPCPAAA) to assist in training and community relationships within our local law enforcement.
Big shoutout not only to Mi Mundo Coffeehouse & Roastery, but also to BSG Hops for donating hops for the brew, to Gigayeast, Inc. For cutting us a great deal, and to the awesome local photographer Brian Ledden (@thebeerdtographer on Instagram) for donating his time to take these awesome photos for breweries participating in the Black is Beautiful Campaign!
If you're unfamiliar with the Black is Beautiful Campaign, it is a worldwide collaboration spearheaded by the amazing and inspiring team at Texas's own Weathered Souls Brewing Co. in San Antonio. The Black is Beautiful initiative is a collaborative effort amongst the brewing community and its customers, in an attempt to bring awareness to the injustices that many people of color face daily. Our mission is to bridge the gap that's been around for ages and provide a platform to show that the brewing community is an inclusive place for everyone of any color.
