Our ideal candidate would have ~2 years of experience in a brewery and formal education/training would be preferred. Whitestone is a small environment working tightly together where the opportunity to learn, grow and contribute in all phases is readily available.

Job responsibilities:
· Assessment, organization, management, and inventory of all raw materials; including milling of grain (must be able to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly)
· Fermentation: From pitch-to-package, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot as necessary
· Barrel program: Filling, emptying, and sampling as needed
· Bright beer: Transfer of finished beer, carbonation testing, and quality assurance with attention to low DO pickup
· Packaging: Assist on packaging line (American Canning 4-head filler) as necessary
· CIP Operations: Cleaning of fermentation vessels, bright tanks, kegs, and brewing equipment using industry best practices
· Ability to work in multiple locations as needed (Liberty Hill and Cedar Park) with occasional flexibility on weekends
Ideal experience and abilities:
· 1 -3 years of relevant brewery production experience
· Brewing-related certification or degree preferred
· Knowledge of the wort production to packaging process
· Self-starter and independent, adhering to detail and safety protocols
· Desire to learn and move into a Brewer role
